With the help of Club CLUE my daughter has built significant communication skills, become more self aware, and more tuned in to others' feelings and thoughts.  The staff at MWKLC takes time with parents to summarize each session and describe how it can be applied at home and school.  The center also provides a great avenue to network with parents of children with similar LDs, and share our hardships and triumphs!

Sibling Support Groups

Metro West Kids Learning Center supports siblings affected by autism and other learning disabilities.

We believe that disabilities, illness, and mental health issues affect the lives of all family members.  Consequently, we want to increase the peer support and information opportunities for brothers and sisters of people with special needs and to increase parents' and providers' understanding of sibling issues.

Our mission is accomplished by supporting parents, family members, teachers and others by increasing awareness and providing sound, research-based information to support those affected by autism and other related disabilities.

 Groups are formed on an "as needed" basis.  Please call the Metro West office at 515-987-8835 for more information and to request placement on the future support group list.
